We just spent the past 9 days at Lake Powell
with the whole parker family - Dick, Bonnie, Dwight, Trish, Tyler, Jeremy, Jay and his girl friend Heather
and Tate
a classmate of Scott's. We spent most of the week in the San Juan River which feeds into Lake Powell. Daily activities included skiing, breakfast, skiing, games, skiing, lunch, skiing, games, skiing, supper, games, and then bed. Well, we didn't ski quite that much... We repeated this for 6 days before heading back down the river home.
After this Tate learned to stay on his feet...
We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on September 16. Dwight and family made "home-made" ice cream and then everyone else went for a boat ride for a couple hours. While heading back down the river on Saturday we went through a couple heavy storms. Trish was able to catch a couple lightning bolt photos.

After both storms we had spectacular double rainbows.
It was a wonderful, relaxing, much needed vacation. We can't wait till we get to go again!!!
