Guam requires all dentists that want to practice on Guam to take their dental board exam. The exam went well for all three of us, but it still wasn't a pleasant experience. For this board we have a couple complex clinical cases - one on a patient, two different fillings, and a crown prep on a plastic tooth. The examiners just look at our stuff without putting a numeric value to compare our work to ideal. Overall it means that if they like you and you do ok work you'll pass. If they don't like you - you'll fail.
I had to come out for two weeks to prepare for and take this exam. Two weeks aways from Erika :(! I did get to check out our future home, see some of the island, do a little SCUBA diving, and a little gardening.

Our future home is located just a couple hundred yards behind the clinic. It will so nice to walk to work.

Fruits and vegetables are expensive in the market. We decided to get a jump start on planting a garden. I didn't mention - Jonathan and Debra Visscher live next door and we'll sharing this garden. Thanks Jonathan and Debra for tending to the garden until we come!
We planted green pepper, another local pepper, lemon, eggplant, lettuce, peas, guava, papaya, and mulberry. We'll see what happens.
