My first Christmas

Hi, it's me Zoe! I wanted to tell you about my first Christmas! It was a busy time, with interesting things happening like a plastic tree sitting right in the middle of my play area, and boxes and bags sitting under it (most with my name on them!), and fun times skyping with family and such....I'm still figuring it all out, but here goes my own telling of my first Christmas!

This is me, and some fun hair bows that my sweet friend Shylah gave me! My hair is finally long enough to start "decorating" (until I have had enough, then I take them out) :) Well anyways, so Christmas....let me tell you about it...


Okay, this was a pre-Christmas session with my friend Ashlyn. We knew we would not see each other on Christmas so she brought over a gift for me to open early - isn't she so sweet? It was lots of fun!








Zoom forward now a few weeks, and suddenly it really is Christmas time. To help get in the "Christmas mood," one night we all went down to this Christmas park that had been set up in Tumon. Doesn't it look festive?



I sat with the Obamas who just happened to be relaxing on this park bench in the middle of the Christmas park!

Oh and this doesn't have to do with Christmas really....but I will sneak it in, because this is me and one of my favs of all time - zories! oh so tasy! (mommy wasn't too thrilled about this!) :)
Christmas Eve: we had a special evening with just us. Mommy and Daddy had homemade soup & bread and a salad. I had a taste of the soup also and liked it! After our yummy dinner, I got to open some presents (you can see some of the boxes under the tree) - opening them was lots of fun. I kept trying to help them by eating some of the wrapping paper.... Oh well, we had so much fun! And guess what, inside those silly boxes there were toys! from Grandmas & Grandpas, yay!!!

well after all that fun, I had to get ready for bed -- but I did have cozy jammies for Christmas that came with a matching reindeer!!

then, this is me waving goodnight beside our pretty tree we had inside our home for Christmas!

When I woke up the next morning, my mommy & daddy came into my room to get me! I get really excited when I see them in the morning! :) This is me (& duckie) waking up on Christmas morning!!

I got right down to business with my new toys that morning....oh, and still doing my bed-head look, do you like it? :)

We all went to church - which was really nice, because we sang pretty Christmas songs almost the entire time, and there were kids dressed up as angels and Mary and Joseph....I liked the program and I especially liked the fact that we were talking about a baby - baby Jesus. That is so great! It sounds crazy, but I think I am friends with that special baby! :)
Anywas, after potluck we went home and my parents wanted to try to get a family picture....hm, I was a bit squirmy by this point! :)

Well that is it! I had a fun and beautiful time, AND I want to say thank you for my family and for the fun toys I got for Christmas. I feel like a very special girl! I hope you had a Merry Christmas too!! TTFN!!! Love you, ZOE
